A Newburgh man is charged with second-degree murder after being accused in the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old over the weekend.

According to police, Tavares Stackhouse, 38, allegedly stabbed Felipe Hernandez Saturday afternoon.

They said they found Hernandez with stab wounds near the entrance to the pool on Washington Street.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the hospital.
