Similar to Saturday, we saw showers and and locally severe storms late Sunday afternoon and they continued into the evening. They brought reports of downed trees, plenty of lightning, thunder and locally, some large hail.

Thunderstorm activity was winding down overnight, with lows dropping to the 60s to near 70.

Monday starts dry, but heat and humidity return. Storms will pop up, locally strong, but maybe not as organized as the last couple of days. Highs could be around 90 and a heat advisory is in effect for apparent temps above 95.

Some degree of heat and humidity linger through Wednesday, with a lower storm potential Tuesday which increases again Wednesday.

Turns much more comfortable later in the week.
