Showers and storms will continue to batter the area with heavy rain, gusty winds and the potential for some small hail this evening.

Overnight I expect that the showers become less numerous, but we keep the storm chance with us on Sunday and early next week. As we move into next week, we have hot temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s. But we also have high humidity with dew points in the 70s so we are feeling oppressive outside with no relief until Thursday.

But before that, we have to get through our temperatures feeling close to 100 degrees this Sunday-Wednesday during the afternoons when we have the warmest temperatures.

Once again, we still have the storm chance in the afternoons until Wednesday but a front does come through giving us cooler temperatures to end the week into the weekend.
