Six Flags Great Escape is open for the 2022 season. The theme park is currently open for weekends.

All the favorite rides like Greased Lightning, the Comet roller coaster and the latest attraction, the Adirondack Outlaw, are open. There are tamer thrills for the whole family and kid rides in Timbertown.

Workers say they’ve enhanced the whole park experience for guests this year.

“We’ve got so much fun in store. We have an incredible ride package and we’ve really ramped up the guest experience throughout the entire park,” said Brit Gillespie, a manager with the theme park. “Even when you get here, at the front gate all the way through to new seating areas, new food options. We’ve really stepped up our game across the board.”
