Jury deliberations in the trial of James White have been delayed for the second day in a row.
White is accused of killing four people, including two children, in Troy in December 2017. Justin Mann, who was accused of working alongside White, pleaded guilty last April.
The jury had been deliberating for several days before this week's delays.
Attorneys confirmed on Monday the jury was unable to deliberate because a juror notified the court she was sick. It is unclear if that is the same reason the jury was unable to meet on Tuesday.
The county clerk, Rensselaer County district attorney’s office, and White's attorneys would not go into specifics when asked for clarification on Tuesday.
Defense attorney Kurt Haas said he would be back to court on Wednesday. The clerk's office would only confirm that deliberations were "delayed" until Wednesday morning.
