Two teenagers were arrested after recent separate incidents at Shenendehowa High School.
Last Monday, a teen was arrested after a planned fight. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said a 17-year-old boy walked into a classroom and assaulted another student, hurting their arm.
Then on Wednesday, investigators said a 14-year-old girl took a photo of another student while she was changing her clothes.
The teens arrested were referred to family court.
The district says both incidents were posted on social media.
The district sent a letter to parents, asking them to “please talk with your children about the serious consequences that can occur when they make decisions or take actions that are harmful, hurtful and violate the rights of others. While it is commonplace for people to use various social media platforms, it must be emphasized that posting such things can violate so many laws and is just plain wrong.”
