Charges have been dropped against a coordinator for the Albany Community Police Review Board.

Clay Gustave was pulled over in August, accused of reckless driving and becoming non-compliant and combative with the officer who pulled him over.

Police Chief Eric Hawkins tells Spectrum News he strongly disagrees with the decision.

Hawkins says he heard the reasons why the case was dismissed and doesn't agree, but went on to say it is time to move forward. He says he continues support for his officers and will keep working on police-community relations.

We are still working to learn more as to why the case was dismissed.
