The investigation into an early morning fire in Troy is underway.

The fire broke out around 5 a.m. at the abandoned building on 126th Street. The building was once part of the Freihofer's mansion complex.

There were no active gas or electric lines into the building. Fire officials said no one was injured, but they did have some trouble getting the fire under control.

The building is a total loss. It's expected to be torn down some time Monday, which could require some temporary road closures.
