Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Albany that left a 16-year-old boy injured over the weekend.

According to Albany police, John Odom, George Young and Theresa Stanley are charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Investigators say Odom fled his parole for manslaughter in New York City.

Authorities were called to a shots fired call on the 100 block of Southern Boulevard around 5 p.m. Saturday. Once on the scene, officers found the injured teen.

He was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Shortly after, police say they noticed a car matching the description of the suspected vehicle and pulled it over. Police say they determined the people inside were the suspects in the shooting and placed them under arrest.

All three are being held in the Albany County Jail.
