William Keeler has officially been elected mayor of Cohoes.

Keeler, who defeated incumbent Shawn Morse in June's Democratic primary election, won 84 percent of the votes with all precincts reporting Tuesday night. Steve Napier, who was on the ballot but didn't actively campaign, and in fact endorsed Keeler in June, earned 15 percent of the vote.

Saratoga Mayor

Meg Kelly looks to have won a second term as mayor of Saratoga.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday, Kelly, a Democrat, earned 4,556 votes to challenger Tim Holmes' 2,082.

Pittsfield Mayor

In the Berkshires, incumbent Linda Tyer won re-election to Pittsfield's highest office on Tuesday night.

Tyer held off challenger and longtime city councilor Melissa Mazzeo, 6,176 votes to 5,647. Tyer first won election four years ago when she unseated then-Mayor Daniel Bianchi.

Rensselaer Mayor

Republican Michael Stammel claimed the mayoral election in Rensselaer, defeating Democrat Richard Mooney. Stammel, chairman of the Rensselaer County Legislature, claimed 53.4 percent of the vote to Mooney's 46.37 percent.

Mooney was technically the incumbent, assuming the mayor's role following the death of then-Mayor Daniel Dwyer last year.

Amsterdam Mayor

Michael Cinquanti has unseated incumbent Michael Villa to become mayor of Amsterdam.

Cinquanti, a Democrat, won 1,657 votes (57.14 percent) Tuesday night to Villa's 1,243 (42.86 percent).
