Eighty-one percent of Albany County residents are now fully vaccinated, according to the latest update from Albany County Executive Dan McCoy.

There were 36 new COVID-19 cases as of Saturday, bringing the county's seven-day positivity average to 40.7 cases.

One new hospitalization was reported overnight, and 23 residents are currently hospitalized with the virus. Of those hospitalizations, there are two patients in the ICU. 

There were no new deaths to report. Since the start of the pandemic, 531 county residents have died from the virus.
