It’s the time of year for foliage, pumpkins and apple picking.
It’s peak season for apple orchards around Upstate New York, like Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont. The orchard, in the Capital Region, spans 300 pristine acres, offering more than 40 apple varieties.
In addition to apple picking, Indian Ladder Farms offers a full bakery, complete with apple cider doughnuts. The Head Chef says the farm sells more than 1,000 doughnuts every weekend in the fall.
The orchard are features a restaurant, brewery and taproom, market, farm animals and gorgeous grounds for taking in the fall sights.
