Two close games, included one that ended in controversy, and one blowout marked week six, with Averill Park, Shaker and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake recording wins.
Here's a roundup of the action:
Averill Park 21, La Salle 20
These two always provide a wild game when they meet, and Friday was certainly no different.
Following a weather delay in the fourth quarter, the teams went into overtime tied at 14. La Salle scored first in the extra period, but missed the point after attempt. Averill Park scored on their first possession of overtime, and Luke Hempel kicked the game-winning field goal.
It did not end there.
La Salle head coach John Audino wasn't convinced the kick was good.

Shaker 14 , Guilderland 12
Shaker's offense was held scoreless in the first half, but erupted for consecutive touchdowns in the second half to take control.
Guilderland scored nine points late in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough to down Shaker.
The Blue Bison move to 6-0 on the season.
BH-BL 41, Ballston Spa 7
This one was all Spartans.
Burnt Hills scored three touchdowns in the first quarter and never looked back.
BH-BL continues to look the part of a Class A contender.
