New York State Police say they are investigating a homicide in an attack that left another man wounded.
Police located the two male victims in the area of 31 Summit Avenue in the Village of Catskill while responding to a report of an assault at 1:27 a.m. Sunday.
Adam White, 28, of Catskill, died from wounds at the scene, while a second victim was taken to Albany Medical Center with a stab wound to his back, according to State Police.
State Police, the Village of Catskill Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation and arrested Michael J. White of Catskill, police said.
White, 30, was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence, according to police. He was arraigned in Catskill Town Court and taken to the Greene County Jail without bail.
During the course of the investigation, Jennifer Hall, 37, of Catskill, was charged with hindering prosecution, police said. She was released pending a court date.
The investigation continues. Charges are pending against an additional defendant, police said.
