There's a new deputy county executive in town as Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy appointed Daniel Lynch to serve the role.
Lynch has a long legal background, earning a degree from Albany Law School and working at the Albany County District Attorney's Office for more than a decade.
He's also been a lifelong resident of Albany County.
County Executive McCoy saying that appointing Lynch was crucial in creating a first-class team to serve the Albany community. Lynch was confirmed by the county Legislature by a unanimous vote.
