Police in Albany trying to find the people who shot a man and threatened to rob him.

Investigators say around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, a man walked into the hospital saying he was shot while he was walking on West Street near Robin Street.

He says the two people demanded his property and then they shot him in the hand with birdshot. Police say this is the second incident involving birdshot in recent days.

"It's certainly unique to have two incidents where birdshot was fired but thankfully both victims are ok," said Albany Police Department spokesperson Steve Smith.

That first incident happened on Friday night when birdshot went through a window of a home on Second Street. That victim got a wound on his arm.
