An Albany woman is searching for her lost dog who, she says, carries hope for her amid some tragic family history.
Rochelle Edwards says her daughter, Jasmine, passed away around this time last year, a little after her 23rd birthday.
Jasmine battled a rare kidney disease from a young age and volunteered with Make-A-Wish to give back, despite her own struggles.
Rochelle now cares for her former companion dog Biscuit — a tan chihuahua and shitzu mix.
Biscuit got lost from his home on Knox Street this past week and was last spotted by the Boys and Girls Club over on Delaware Ave. His owner is hopeful to recover this link to her lost daughter.
If you see Biscuit, let Albany Police know. Rochelle says the reward for the dog is $350.
