We now know when the trial may begin in the quadruple homicide in Troy that happened two years ago.

The Rensselaer County District Attorney's Office told Spectrum News the date is now tentatively set for November 6 to try one of the two men accused in the killings of 22-year-old Brandi Mells, 36-year-old Shanta Myers, and her children, 11-year-old Jeremiah Myers and 5-year-old Shanise Myers.

All were killed days before Christmas in 2017 and their deaths were not discovered until after the holiday.

James White is facing the trial.

The other accused killer, Justin Mann, pleaded guilty in April, but at last check his attorney says he may try to withdraw that plea and go to trial. He has been set to testify against White.
