Court documents have been released on the criminal case surrounding the Schoharie limousine crash.

New documents show Nauman Hussain's DNA matches a sample from a Department of Transportation sticker found stuffed in the limousine's side door pocket. That sticker indicated the limo was not cleared to be out on the road.

Hussain is facing 20 negligent homicide charges and 20 manslaughter charges in connection with the deadly crash.

Hussain's lawyer says the match doesn't mean much, saying it only shows "At some point in time to which no expert can testify, my client's DNA landed on a piece of paper in his own car."

Documents also confirm a special prosecutor, Matthew Peluso, has been approved to help Schoharie County District Attorney Susan Mallery in this case. Peluso works in the state attorney general's office.

The case is still set for January 2020, but pre-trial hearings and some filings have been pushed back.
