A man connected to a New Year’s Eve fight in Canajoharie that turned deadly was found not guilty on Monday.
A jury acquitted Stanley Hall of charges that included manslaughter.
Hall got into a fight with Joseph Herting at a Walnut Street boarding house. Herting was critically injured while Hall was found lying on the sidewalk, police had said. Herting later died of his injuries.
Both men reportedly lived in the 14-room boarding house in separate apartments, and were intoxicated during the brawl.
