After crews had to battle a devastating fire on Fifth Ave in Troy, destroying Alpha Lanes, they had to rush to the scene of another big fire, this one on Forest Ave and Pawling Ave.
Firefighters responded around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday to find heavy smoke, flames, and some explosions.
Fire Chief Eric McMahon said it's unclear if anyone was inside the building, which was only marked '"welding shop," and his crews battled the flames from outside.
Narrow streets and problems getting enough water also presented problems after what was a busy day for the firefighters.
"They've had quite the day. They certainly had quite the day. We're hoping the rest of the day goes a little bit easier," McMahon said.
The chief said this fire remains under investigation.
