HBO's "Game of Thrones" and The Red Cross is a "Red Wedding" fans can definitely get behind.
Winter is not just big trouble for Westeros, Red Cross organizers say it also froze donation collections around the region.
So anyone who gives blood or blood platelets from now until March 17, will automatically be entered to win one of five trips to the season eight world premiere of the show.
"There have been numerous cancellations of blood drives because of snow and extreme cold. Any disruption in blood drives and blood donations can create an emergency need," said Albany Red Cross Spokesperson Kimmy Venter.
They're hoping the partnership forged with the popular show will heat things up.
"We provide 40 percent of the nations blood supply so any chance we can get the community involved by their love of "Game of Thrones,"if it gets five or ten people in, we are doing something good," said Red Cross Regional Philanthropist Derek Dobson.
Red Cross says there are several places you can go and donate blood, at any given time. Multiple donation sites like the one in Watervliet, are open to the public.
That is where Spectrum News found "Game of Thrones" super-fan Hannah Davidson, and others who say giving back runs in their blood.
"It's just such an easy way to give back, and it doesn't cost you anything," Davidson said.
A few things to note before giving are that you can only donate blood every 56 days, if your donating at one of their offices they say to be sure to make an appointment on Redcross.org, to avoid long wait times.
