Proctors Theatre's announcement bash was made with all the pomp and circumstance of a Broadway musical.

Both Proctors and The REP introduced their 2018-2019 subscription series with flair. The season includes shows like "School of Rock," adapted from the popular movie. Other highlights include "A Bronx Tale," "Waitress" and the fan favorite "The Phantom of the Opera" -- to say nothing of stage sensation "Hamilton" in 2019.

“I don't think we've ever had a season where every single show on it is still playing in New York and doing gangbuster business,” said Proctors CEO Philip Morris.

"The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" and "Phantom" are subscriber exclusives to whom tickets are immediately available. In the latter, Derrick Davis is only the third African-American to play the title role.
