As the Capital Region continues to make significant progress against COVID-19, Albany Medical Center is once again updating its visitation guidelines.

Two visitors over the age of 12 will now be allowed to visit a patient between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and between 5-8 p.m. Visitors arriving to the campus must still adhere to a number of health guidelines, including a COVID-19 symptom check, a travel history screening, a surgical mask requirement and visitors must remain in the patient's room for the duration of the visit.

If you don't have a surgical mask before coming to Albany Med, one will be provided for you. Visitors who don't follow the guidelines will be asked to leave.

Officials say the updated guidelines will remain in place as long as the regional number of COVID-19 cases continues to remain low.
