The chance for strong-to-severe storms will continue through the early evening hours. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats. Tuesday begins a pattern of cooler but still unsettled weather. We'll see the chance for showers mainly in the morning on Tuesday and again by the evening. The rain will be widespread just south of Albany through early Wednesday morning. Wednesday will turn sunny and it'll remain dry through Thursday before heavy rain looks likely on Friday.

1. Tornado hits city of Buffalo, damaging buildings and flipping cars

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down at around 12:50 p.m. in the city of Buffalo Monday afternoon, damaging buildings and sending debris swirling.

GoGoGrandparent is a ride-hailing program geared toward older adults that’s available in almost every county in New York. Seniors call its phone number and are connected to a driver and information needed, such as the driver's name, plate number and arrival time. Rapoza says the best part is the rides are free.

You are what you eat — and Generation X and millennials specifically are seeing the impacts of that according to a new report from the American Cancer Society. It says cancer is up for these generations specifically.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. arrived at a New York court Monday to fight a lawsuit alleging he falsely claimed to live in New York as he sought to get on the ballot in the state.
