The Commemorative Air Force has five World War II aircraft at the Millionaire Air tarmac at Albany International Airport.
All of the planes flew in the war. Visitors can get up close and experience the touch, smell and sounds of the aircrafts. They can tour the cockpit, talk to the crews about the planes’ history and even purchase a flight in some of the planes. The tour crew says the event is the perfect way to honor our veterans, educate the next generation and inspire visitors.
The CAF airpower tour is happening only through this Sunday, June 18. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Children 10 and under are free. For more information log on to www.commemorativeairforce.org.
