ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Play places across Western New York are working hard to making sure kids can have fun while also keeping things sanitary. That includes Rolly Pollies in Orchard Park.

With different variants of COVID-19 spreading, even in young children, Rolly Pollies wants people to know they are doing everything they can to keep kids safe.

They have locations all over Western New York and staff work hard to keep them clean — spraying equipment down several times a day and shutting down for hours every day so employees can sanitize thoroughly.

Owner Jim Fleckenstein says as a parent, he understands the concern. He says families that are hesitant should come to check it out and see their process.

"Every family is going to figure out what their comfort level is. We offer free trial classes. You can call us," Fleckenstein said. "You can schedule a trial online. But come in and really see who we are and what we're doing and see if it fits what you and your family are looking for in your expectations right now."

Fleckenstein says that since Rolly Pollies is considered a sports activity gym, children don't have to wear a mask; however, he says they should feel comfortable to wear one if they wish.
