Two Capital Region restaurants temporarily closed after employees tested positive for COVID-19 this week.

The Albany County Department of Health said Thursday that Philly Bar and Lounge on Watervliet Shaker Road had two employees from Albany County and one from Rensselaer County test positive for the coronavirus. Employees will be tested on-site Friday by the Department of Health, and the county DOH says Philly will stay closed until all test results come back.

Delmonico's on Central Avenue in Albany is also closed temporarily, as the county DOH says three employees there tested positive for COVID-19. Two are from Schenectady County, and one is from Albany County. Delmonico's employees will also be tested Friday.

Officials are urging any customer who has symptoms or concerns related to COVID-19 should be tested by calling for an appointment at Albany mobile testing sites or scheduling an appointment at the Colonie Rite Aid online.
