The recent rain is creating some problems for the Great Sacandaga Lake.
The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is warning about debris floating in the lake.
That debris includes docks, trees and boats.
That's why the sheriff's office is urging boaters to get off the lake when the sun goes down.
The recent rain is also having an impact on North Country trails and campgrounds.
The DEC sent out a warning saying several trails and campgrounds in the Adirondacks are flooded.
They are urging people to use caution around high water areas and never cross swollen rivers or streams.
The department says hikers who do hit the trails this weekend should wear waterproof boots and bring trekking poles, which help provide added stability.
