Senator Jamaal Bailey took a stance on bail reform and responded to sheriffs across the state protesting the laws on Tuesday in Albany.

Bailey joined Susan Arbetter on Wednesday and dove in further to the 200 officers who were at the state capitol to protest the laws that went into effect in January. He believes that seeing one side of the spectrum doesn’t believe its leading everybody in the right direction.

“The problem is when you have numbers like that, that are not diverse, that are telling one side of a story without having a conversation in the dialogue, that can lead us into trouble about where we should be,” said Bailey.
