Adirondack Animal Land in Gloversville has a drive-through safari and a walking zoo with more than 30 different species of animals visitors can get up close and personal to, including camels, zebras, emus, bison and more.

Animals come right up to vehicles. Visitors have the option to feed them for an extra fee.

New at the zoo is a walk-in aviary with 400 birds. Owner Dave Eglin said the goal is to both entertain and educate about the importance of wildlife.

Animal Land is open to seven days a week through the end of August. Tickets are $20 for adults. $16 for kids. For more information head to www.AdirondackAnimalLand.com.
