Downtown Albany will soon have its first all-electric, zero-emission residential building.
A new Rosenblum Companies development called "Industrie” looks to stay ahead of the zero-emission curve.
“We kind of look at it as not just building a building, but really building a legacy," said Jeff Mirel, the principal at Rosenblum Companies.
The hope is to transform the Capital Region’s residential and commercial real estate landscape with buildings that will emit zero fossil fuels. Mirel sees it as the future of the housing industry, focused on sustainability and energy efficiency.
“We have the opportunity to create a better product and also to model how to build these buildings, share these techniques, share these approaches,” said Mirel.
