A high-energy and heartfelt musical comedy has taken the stage at Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham.

“The Full Monty,” based on the film of the same name, tells the story of a group of down-on-their-luck steel workers in Buffalo. When their factory closes, the guys find a unique way to earn some money after their wives catch a Chippendales show,

The husbands decide their own review. With the help of a wisecracking musical director, the guys learn to sing, dance and bare it all on the stage, strengthening their friendships.

“The Full Monty” is playing through Sept. 4. For more information on tickets, go to the theatre's website.
