ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — It appears Josh Allen will take the field after all Sunday against the Vikings.
The Bills did not elevate quarterback Matt Barkley from the practice squad Saturday, meaning Allen and Case Keenum will be the only two QBs on the game day roster.
If Allen was not healthy enough to play or his status was still in question, the team would have needed to call-up Barkley to potentially be a back-up.
He suffered an elbow injury on the final drive last weekend against the Jets.
Allen did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, but was limited Friday and listed as questionable on the final injury report.
The game day roster is released at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Bills did elevate RB Duke Johnson and CB Xavier Rhodes from the practice squad.
Rhodes is a likely indication Kaiir Elam will not suit up, listed as doubtful with an ankle injury that had him out of practice Thursday and Friday.
Johnson's call-up is curious, with Devin Singletary, James Cook, and recently acquired Nyheim Hines all healthy heading into the game.
The Bills and Vikings are set to kick-off Sunday at 1 p.m.
