Ashley Stanley is a proud member of the Spectrum News 1 New York State newsroom as a meteorologist based in Buffalo.

Ashley grew up in Western New York. In December 2023, she received her Bachelor's degree in meteorology at SUNY Brockport. During her time at university, Ashley was a weather intern at WHEC-TV in Rochester. 

Although Ashley grew up in Buffalo, her favorite weather phenomena is hurricanes. She does not like the snow, but she is looking forward to forecasting snow and blizzards in the future. 

When Ashley is not forecasting the weather, she enjoys weightlifting and other exercise activities.
