Former Bills wide receiver Eric Moulds highlights this year’s Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame class.
Moulds led the AFC with a team record 1,368 yards receiving back in 1998. He's second all-time in Bills history in receptions and receiving yards.
Fellow 2023 inductees include Cheryl Bailey (GM of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team), Santo DeSain (ECC coach), Kara Haun-Rehbaum (college athlete and administrator), Gerry Meehan – (member of the inaugural Buffalo Sabres team), Otto Orf – (indoor soccer star), Adam Page (three-time Gold medalist for Team USA Paralympic sled hockey team), Dave Wohlabaugh (member of the Pats’ Superbowl XXXI Championship team), Bud Bakewell (Western New York youth sports pioneer), Bobby Chandler (former Bills wide receiver and two-time second team All Pro selection), Drake Francescone (longtime City Honors coach), Eddie Malanowicz (two sport athlete at UB).
Additionally, the fourth annual Team of Distinction award will go to Plant 6, a softball team that began playing together in 1977 and continued until 2006, and 2023 Dick Gallagher Legacy Award will go to Dennis DiPaolo.
Moulds is part of the 12-member class of 2023 set to be inducted on June 14 at Buffalo Riverworks. This event will mark the 33rd class to be inducted into the Hall of Fame since its inception in 1991 and brings total membership to 388.
