A very quiet movie is making a big roar at the box office, with the largest opening since the pandemic started.
In it's first weekend in theaters, "A Quiet Place Part II" earned $48.4 million, the highest of any film release since theaters closed nationwide. The film is expected to hit $58 million by Tuesday.
The horror flick was originally set to premier in March of last year and like many others, was postponed.
"A Quiet Place Part II" was filmed in several locations around the Buffalo area over the summer of 2019.
