A young man from Cattaraugus County is accused of kidnapping a child.
State police say 18-year-old Devonte Connor took the child from a home on Waymer Street in the village of Portville to a house in the city of Salamanca without the permission or knowledge of a parent.
He's charged with kidnapping and burglary.
He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.
