CENTRAL N.C. – The worst of the rain from Tropical Storm Eta is done with, though a few isolated showers could add a bit more rain before the morning is over.

With most of the rain over and done with, here's a look at some preliminary rainfall totals. Some spots picked up more than six inches of rain:

While the heaviest rain is done for most, isolated showers could still pop up through the morning.

Flash flood warnings are still in place around the Raleigh area for the morning as flooding is still ongoing.

It will take time for floodwaters to go down, even after rain gets lighter or ends.

If you come across a flooded road, do not drive into it. Most flash flood deaths happen in vehicles.
