A person pulled a gun out on deputies who were serving a warrant at a home in Nashville, N.C. Monday, leading to a shooting, according to the Nash County Sheriff's Office. One person was hurt.

The shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Reges Store Road off of U.S. 64. Deputies said they were serving a warrant for a domestic issue, when James Breheim came out of the home with a gun.

No deputies were injured in the shooting, according to the Nash County Sheriff's Office, but Breheim was taken to WakeMed with injuries. He was listed in critical condition late Monday afternoon, according to a news release by the sheriff's office.

"There is no threat to the public at this time," the sheriff's office posted on Facebook Monday morning.

The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
