A strong area of high pressure will remain over the Carolinas this weekend, keeping our weather dry and fair. Temperatures today will be warmer than yesterday. Expected a seasonable afternoon in the low to mid 50s. Skies will remain clear this evening and tonight ensuring another cold setting, likely below freezing in the upper 20s.

High pressure will shift to our east tomorrow, increasing the southerly warm flow of air into the area. Temperatures will likely be near 60 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy the dry weather this weekend because rain returns late Monday. We'll likely have two storm systems move through, making rain a likely possibility Monday through Wednesday.

These two systems could bring a quarter to an inch and a half of rain to the state. After Wednesday's system passes cooler air will move in pushing highs from the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday down into the 40s and 50s as we close out the week.
