Cool and dry weather is our forecast through this week and into the upcoming weekend.
We will see plenty of sunshine Tuesday, but high temperatures will warm just to the low 50s in the Triangle and the mid 50s in the Sandhills.

A disturbance will bring a period of mostly cloudy skies Tuesday night. Those clouds should clear out by early Wednesday morning when lows will return to the mid 30s.

Lows in the 30s and highs in the mid to upper 50s are forecast through the second half of this week. A few spots in the Sandhills may hit 60.
The first half of the weekend should be a bit cooler. Highs may only reach the upper 40s Saturday.
Our next chance for rain should come early next week. The latest forecast data suggests around one inch of rain will be possible from Monday through next Wednesday.
