Almost 600 freshmen arrived to their dorm rooms and began their quest to experience Bronco Pride. An additional 900 or more students, who are transfers and other new arrivals, make up an enrollment increase for the University.

This annual moving day is called Operation Smooth Move.

Amongst the new freshmen was Glenasia Flowers of Wilson. She is the fourth member of her family to attend Fayetteville State. She beamed as she was flanked by both her uncle and her grandfather.

"It's been good. I'm just trying to finish moving in. I've been...kind of...excited to get here. Now, that I'm here I can't believe it, " she said.

Orientation activities for the new students will happen over the next couple of days. Classes for all students begins on Wednesday.
