RALEIGH, N.C. – Morgan Street Food Hall is one of the most popular lunch-destinations in Raleigh.

  • Bad Cat Coffee is one of the latest additions to Morgan Street Food Hall.
  • They feature coffee, crepes, and bagels.
  • The company is named for the owner's cat, Patches.

But what many don’t realize is that it also has a breakfast option!

Bad Cat Coffee Company is a kiosk located directly in front of the Morgan Street entrance. Upon walking in for your morning brew you'll be greeted by a happy crew wearing cat ears!

Their menu includes various coffees (including the Meow-keyotto), fresh crepes, and Bagels from New York Bagel and Deli.

Apart from traditional sweet crepes, Bad Cat also offers savory options such as their bacon, egg, and cheese crepe, which is made right in front of you in Parisian street-vendor style!

Something controversial that they've recently added to their menu is a kids parfait option that features a St. Louis-style bagel (meaning it's sliced VERTICALLY).

When asked why she named her business "Bad Cat" owner Traci Davis says she named it after her cat, Patches!

"Before I was getting the business started she destroyed some of our furniture," explained Davis humorously. "So I figured she might as well help pay for some of it!"

Bad Cat is open 7-days a week. They open at 8 a.m.
They also have a location at the flea market in Raleigh on the weekend.
