CARY, N.C. -- Fortnite and Avengers are partnering up for a movie-video game crossover project.

According to CNN, Epic Games began tweeting from the Fortnite Twitter account with cryptic messages saying, "Whatever it takes" with an April 25 date and a #FortniteXAvengers hashtag. Cary-based company Epic Games is the maker of Fortnite.

This collab comes at the same time the "Avengers: Endgame" opens in theaters Thursday.

New skins are said to be featured in Fortnite, including Avengers superhero Captain America and villain Thanos.
