ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. – Orange County Superintendent Todd Wirt has announced his resignation.
- Todd Wirt has announced his resignation.
- His last day will be June 30, 2019.
- He has held the position for four years.
Wirt says this will be his fourth and final year in the position.
Wirt says he plans to pursue other career options, and remain in the area.
In a letter to the public, Wirt said, “I will continue to be a resident, parent, and active supporter of public education in this community and look forward to watching our positive trajectory as a school system continues with new leadership.”
