CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The first school in North Carolina has announced its plans for how to handle a teacher rally at the State Capitol.

Thursday, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School Board voted unanimously to have an optional teacher workday for this year's rally set for May 1.
