NASH COUNTY, N.C. – Four out of the five inmates who escaped from the Nash County Jail Monday have been captured.
- Raheem Horne, Laquaris Battle, David Viverrette, David Ruffin, and Keonte Murphy escaped the Nash County Jail Monday..
- Officials say they got through a hole in a fence.
- Laquaris Battle is still missing.
Police say Raheem Horne, Laquaris Battle, David Viverrette, David Ruffin, and Keonte Murphy were in an exercise yard and got through a hole in a fence.
The Nash County Sheriff's Office says they've had about 140 law enforcement officers from nearly a dozen different agencies, all trying to locate Battle.
Deputies have been successful with finding the other four escaped inmates. Viverrette and Horne were tracked 15 miles down the road in a hotel room at Hal Orr's Inn in Rocky Mount.
Ruffin and Murphy were both found at a home in Farmville.
Deputies say they are searching for Battle just north in the Castalia area.
