High pressure remains in control of our weather as we move through a beautiful Saturday!

Central North Carolina can expect plenty of sunshine throughout our Saturday. After a mild morning, temperatures will efficiently warm into the mid to upper 80s Saturday afternoon. Other than a few fair weather clouds, today will not have much of a issue weather wise. With drier air still keeping dew points down in the upper 50s to low 60s, the humidity is not a concern as well.

Dry, fair weather will look to continue Sunday and into the upcoming workweek as a Bermuda high over the Atlantic looks to expand westward. This will steadily increase temperatures each day so get ready for the 90s to return to our forecast as early as Sunday and Monday.

The high will also bring the return of moisture to the state thanks to southerly winds. We'll gradually gain moisture Sunday, Monday and by Tuesday we'll have our first real shot at rain returning to our part of the state. Isolated showers at best are expected Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon before a more scattered storm threat arrives by the end of the week.
