FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- A Fayetteville mother and her infant child were found after being reported missing earlier Sunday morning.
- 19-year-old Alyssa Hammonds and her daughter Serenity were reported missing from a home on Camelot Drive
- 18-year-old Delano McLean is the father of 3-month-old Serenity McLean
- McLean is in custody for questioning after police say he broke into the home through a window, forced Hammonds and her daughter into his car, and took off
Investigators say 18-year-old Delano McLean is the father of three-month-old Serenity McLean.
Earlier Sunday, 19-year-old Alyssa Hammonds and her daughter Serenity were reported missing from a home on Camelot Drive after the two were last seen around 2:30 a.m.
Police say McLean broke into the home through a window, forced Hammonds and her daughter into his car, and took off.
He has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Kidnapping, 2nd Degree Kidnapping, Assault by Strangulation, Breaking & Entering to Terrorize, and Violation of a Domestic Violence Protection Order.
